Traylors in Port Angeles

The whole family enjoyed their meals and that doesn't happen often.

I’m from out of town but I came here for dinner with my boyfriend and they were fantastic. Food was great and perfectly cooked, service was even better. We enjoyed it so much we even came back for breakfast. Thank you to the staff for a great visit!!

Very good food. The portions are huge, took 3/4 of my food home to enjoy later. Price was reasonable. Older quaint decor. Began 1955 loved the pictures of the history and an original menu. Will go back next time I'm in Port Angeles forsure. Thanks Amber for the great service.

This review is specific to an appetizer. I'm not sure what a meal is like from here but I still recommend the restaurant. We'd just come down from camping on the coast and wanted some mozzarella sticks. I found this place on Google and decided to try it. Oh my gosh! The mozzarella sticks are very well done, didn't seem store bought or frozen and they give you handmade meat sauce instead of marinara. (I did not miss marinara.) That meat sauce made me want to order whatever comes with it as an entree. Sooo good! And yes we were starving but I'm a picky eater even when I'm hungry and those were still the best cheese sticks I've had in years!

Enter the front door and this place goes on forever in all directions! Wait staff was attentive and accommodating, with good food at a fair price, and excellent cocktails!

I'm on the road quite a bit and I need to know a good place to eat wherever my travels may take me. I found the one in Port Angeles. The food is good and the waitresses pretty and friendly. I couldn't ask for more... definitely going back.

I've never had a bad experience here. Good drinks and even better food. Their fried oyster sandwich is fantastic and their rib eye steaks are perfect!

Excellent. Great service, very homey. The Reuben is a little juicy, but fantastic. Caesar salad was a lettuce mix, but the dressing was awesome. I'll be going back when I'm back near Port Townsend.

Awesome food! Most of the fish/ seafood is fried, but done perfectly. The Captain's Plate is the best option followed by the Prime Rib. Salmon is delicious too. The service was great and the servers were sweet. Thank you.

I've been truly blessed by this crew 🙏💛❤️💙I have a history of bad experiences with restaurants so rarely feel motivated to eat out.Today though, my first meal out in 6 months, my mother and I were greeted with genuine smiles, enthusiasm and care, from the moment we walked in.The attentiveness of our server was so amazing and still with genuine smile and enthusiasm. I even stopped her from her busy running around to let her know from my heart, how much her and all the other like minded staff, changed our day.

Traylor's ribeye dinner was just right. It was cooked just the way I wanted it. It rivals seemingly more influential restaurants farther east. Good food came from small towns and still does. It's unnecessary to baffle customers with trough sized portions. Taste far exceeds quantity. Traylor's met that and then some. Shawn did an outstanding job of heating my blackberry cobbler. I couldn't have asked for better!

Predictably good grub for at least the last 4 decades! Wide selection of food and decent prices too! If you're not sure what you want to eat, Traylor's is a pretty safe bet that you'll find something to satisfy your hunger pangs!

Good cafe/American diner food

We visited this place Sunday. A lot of local people. Good service and tasty food. American style kitchen but more than regular bar. Go for it...

Always clean, the staff is always sweet and kind and the food and drinks are awesome thank you Traylors for being number 1

Burger dip took more than 15 mins to arrive. Patty was over cooked and could have used some cheese. Plus a thicker patty would be great and would justify the menu price.

Friendly wait staff and good Americana food.

They overcharged me almost $20 and fixed it by just giving us the meal which was very nice and why they got 3 stars. I don’t know if it was just my rib eye but I’m nauseous now.. Was a stressful Friday night waiting so long for a messed up order just to get sick. Waitresses were nice, maybe it was just because it was the end of the night. I also recommend not slathering gravy all over the mashed potatoes in the same Togo box as the steak.. it was totally ruined and messy. Didn’t know gravy came over and it should be asked as an option.

Ok, new in town. Wanted fish n chips with my son. This restaurant delivered! Really friendly staff, great service, the drinks were cold and the food was hot and yummy. Will be going again! Easy to find with plenty of parking despite the crowd! Very much recommended.

Great old school family restaurant. Quick, friendly service with a smile. My chopped steak was cooked perfectly and smothered in mushrooms, YUM! And my husband was completely overwhelmed with the mountain of tater tots on his plate. 😂

We love it. There is plenty of parking. The staff is so professional and courteous. The food was delicious. The service was prompt. Grill Potatoes with bacon were to so delicious the best.

The kitchen staff are wonderful, I forgot to leave off an item and they redid the plate of food with no problem. The wait staff is great they took the plate back and had it fixed 😊

Traylors has amazing and delicious food and you need to try it. It will be the best food you have ever eaten.

We are from Kansas City, and were visiting the area on a family vacation. We became "regulars" at Traylor's, eating dinner there, twice, on our trip. The service was very good, and we really enjoyed all our food! We had the fish and chips, and they were SO tasty - tender, moist fish and wonderfully crunchy coating. My brother, who lives on the east coast and eats lots of clam chowder, said this was the best he's ever had. We also had a bacon cheeseburger and grilled pork chops. Both were delicious. Spaghetti was good. The chicken teriyaki was delicious. My only recommendation would be to have tomatoes and onions in the salad and not serve chilled apple pie. We really had an enjoyable time on both visits, and the large hanging flower baskets outside were very nice.

Nice menu selection. There was a variety to choose from....lots of comfort food. I would recommend the bacon cheeseburger. The food was hot and tasted great. Staff was very friendly. This is a great family restaurant. Plenty of parking.

Traylor's Restaurant is probably one of the best places to eat I've ever been to! The mom and pops feel to this family owned restaurant was exactly what my husband and I were looking for when visiting the beautiful town of Port Angeles, WA. The servers were friendly and always knew the names of the people who were walking in. My husband and I sat at the bar and ate our food while talking to the cooks who were cooking right in front of us. The cooks should get raises and plaques with their names on them because the food was immaculate and made my mouth water with every bite! Could not have asked for a better restaurant than Traylor's.

The food was amazing, very well cooked and very savory. The wait time was a little long but there was a lot of people there. All in all a very good restaurant.

Plenty of room. Very friendly staff. Nice variety on menu. I even got a crab meat appetizer! Clean dining area and clean restroom. Prices were reasonable for a sit-down restaurant .... Good place for nice meal!

Best new dish I've never had before. Try the crab and cheese sandwich. It is totally awesome. It practically melts in your mouth. Service very friendly. Food came fast. Everything was really good.

The food and service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this to everyone that are on Hwy101 heading to Port Angeles to give this a try.

They have great service and good food! Comfortable place to eat and relax!! And they have work hours that cater to very early risers on their way to work or just coming back into Port Angeles from and early day hauling a load of logs out of town and need some breakfast on their way back through for another load...and a great place to hang out and get some coffee and talk to buddies!!!

One of my favorite spots in Port Angeles. Good sized meals at great prices and always a fun bunch of people! Service is fast and very friendly! I had the gyro special recently and it was perfect! Other favorites from the menu are the ribeye, prime rib, flat iron steak salad, tater tots and of course the fish and chips!

I always stop here when I go to PA shopping. I have never been disappointed with the food. Clean, comfy, friendly, atmosphere. Order the tidbit plate. You wont be disappointed!

Traveling on my motorcycle & Jen took great care of me. I gave her free range to choose my meal, I had an amazing fresh cod fish & chips. I'll be back!

Got the French toast, it was tasty. Wish the selection of toppings was larger or had different combinations. service was good! Our waitress was very kind and always there to help!

Excellent service and great food. Good to see them open with all the craziness. It was so nice to enjoy a good meal out. The fish and chips was excellent. Clam chowder was great as well. Only negative for me was the coleslaw was not a creamy coleslaw like I'm used to.
